Phillip Whiteman Jr., Northern Cheyenne from Lame Deer Montana will be a guest on the Flint Rasmussen's "Outside the Barrel" variety talk show December 12th, 2008, 12:00 pm. This interview will take place at the Cowboy Christmas, Las Vegas Convention Center during the 50th Anniversary Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. Flint Rasmussen is the high school teacher from Choteau Montana turned Funny Man of the P.B.R. - Professional Bull Riding. Phillip will share the flute story which carries a message of "finding your gift in life" and will perform with the flute.
Whiteman, conducted rodeo schools with legends like Monty "Hawkeye" Henson, and Don Gay. He was selected to represent the All American Rodeo & Wild West Show to introduce Pro Rodeo to Europe. He was featured on the Western Horseman Magazine on two different occasions. Whiteman's performances include performing on Broadway, performing at the Red Rock Amphitheater in Boulder Colorado, and the 2008 Humanitarian Awards in Cincinnati, Ohio. He developed the Medicine Wheel Model to Natural Horsemanship which works with the spirit of horse and human and interprets the true language of the horse.
