USA Today News covered a story recently on the coal deposits on the Cheyenne Indian Reservation.

Yellow Bird is dedicated to protecting Mother Earth. In 2006 Yellow Bird led by Phillip Whiteman Jr., along with the support of Honor the Earth defeated a referendum vote to develop Coal Bed Methane on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation in Southeastern Montana. Unfortunately a coal referendum passed.
